I came to South Korea as a Native English teacher from the USA merely 2 months ago, and I owe many many thanks to my wonderful and sweet recruiter, Dia Kim at Korvia Consulting.  From the very first time she interviewed me over Skype, I knew that me, her and Korvia would be a great team.  She was so easy to talk to, so funny, and on top of that, was extremely honest about the process of coming to teach in Korea and her expectations of me from the get go.  It proved to be a magical pairing!

While the EPIK / SMOE process was a long and tedious one filled with many questions on my end, I always felt that my questions and uncertainties were handled in the most professional and timely fashion, which helped ease my nerves as best they could.  This sort of professionalism also carried itself through the transition process of actually arriving in Korea.  From a smooth pick up at the airport upon arrival, to providing me with a prepaid cell phone, to putting together a welcome party a month after arrival, working for Korvia has been a wonderful experience.

I’m absolutely loving my time in Korea thus far and I can honestly say it has been the best decision I have ever made.  I have friends back in the United States who ask me all the time about coming and teaching English, and I always suggest to them working with Korvia if they decide to make the leap and come.  You will definitely not be let down if you choose Korvia to be your go-to recruiting agency.

Should you wish to ask me further questions about the process, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Many thanks,
