My name is Stephanie Jones. I recently moved to South Korea to teach English. After graduating college in December of 2009, I was unsure as to where I wanted to start my career in education, but after weighing my options, I decided to come to South Korea. I did research, and through my social network, I was given a reference for Ann Park. I looked at the KorVia website and decided that this was a wonderful opportunity. I contacted Ann through the recruiter’s list and we began the hiring process. Because of the short notice, I thought it would be extremely difficult to get everything approved and processed in time, but Ann Park did a wonderful job of walking me through what I needed, step-by-step. She routinely called or wrote to make sure I was up to date on what I needed to be filing. The outlines she gave me, as well as the step-by-step instruction really eased my anxiety about taking a job in another country. She also did a post-arrival check to make sure that things were going as planned and that my transition to my new job had been as smooth as possible. I really appreciated all of this. There were a few issues with some of the paperwork I needed for my F-4 visa application, but Ann Park took the time to retrieve them from the local offices here in Korea, and I appreciated that. She also corresponded with the Korean Embassy in Atlanta to clear up some discrepancies with my paperwork as well. This was all such a relief, because as I do not speak Korean, I was very confused and unsure of how to handle the problem. Ann Park took the time to really help me and explain things to me, and I appreciated that. I would recommend her, as well as KorVia recruiting company to anyone considering a job. In fact, I have. To many of my friends who are recent college graduates, I’ve directed them all to her for consultations and interviews. I’m really grateful for her help in assisting me to find job placement here in South Korea.
Thank You,
Stephanie Jones
